About BEL Fellowship Program

The BEL Initiative Fellowship is an entrepreneurship program of the Georgia Haitian-American Chamber of Commerce that provides entrepreneurship education, mentorship, access, and exposure to entrepreneurs by hosting them in the United States for the summer. Typically, participants are from Haiti. However, the 2022 Cohort will be the first bi-national cohort to host participants from Haiti and the United States.

During the program, selected fellows are exposed to opportunities to improve their business acumen, refine existing ideas, and connect to resources. After the program, fellows commit to implement attained knowledge, resources, and solutions to their businesses and local communities. Our mission is to provide entrepreneurship education and connect entrepreneurs to resources. Our vision is that Haiti is a developed nation in our lifetime.
