The BEL Initiative is a signature program of the Georgia Haitian-American Chamber of Commerce that provides entrepreneurship education and resources through its summer fellowship and international trade missions. The initiative equips entrepreneurs primarily from Haiti with mentorship, business training, access to networks, and exposure to the U.S. market by hosting them in the United States during the summer.

Through the BEL Fellowship Program, selected entrepreneurs enhance their business acumen, refine their ideas, and connect with valuable partners and resources. After the fellowship, participants commit to applying what they’ve learned to strengthen their businesses and create lasting impact in their communities.

In addition to the fellowship, the BEL Initiative organizes trade missions designed to promote trade and investment between Haiti, its global diaspora, and international markets. These missions foster meaningful business relationships, open new markets, and support sustainable economic development.
