This past October, Agrigou was one of the 5 winning enterprises of the Booster RSE prize. The Booster RSE competition is organized by the Haitian-Canadian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in partnership with the United Nation Program for Development (UNDP). The competition promotes the integration of the Sustainable Development Goals and corporate social responsibility in business practices.

The 2019 BEL Initiative Fellow, Joseph Kendy Jules, and his team submitted their business plan and were eventually preselected as one of the top 10 candidates. After pitching the company’s concept and strategy, judges selected 5 winners for the Booster RSE prize. Prize winners were given in-kind funding for equipment needed to increase production.
Joseph acknowledges that two of his colleagues from the 2019 BEL Cohort who contributed to the team’s success. Business Entrepreneur, Jhonson Vilson, helped during the business plan preparation. Edwin Magloire, CEO of brandpill, assisted the team in pitch writing and designed Agrigou’s presentation deck.

Agrigou transforms raw products into spice powders that can be used to season food and prepare meals. Products are available at the following locations
